Valencia and Barcelona will square off at the Estadio de Mestalla in La Liga on Sunday.
Barca had a great chance to go top of the league on Thursday, bit squandered it as they fell to a 2–1 defeat at home to Granada. The defeat leaves them in third place, level on points with 2nd-placed Real Madrid. They’re both two points below Atletico Madrid.
If they all avoid any slip-ups, the La Liga title will be decided on the last day of the league season.
Barca will look to bounce back when they face 14th-placed Valencia, who are without a win in their last five games.
Valencia have lost two and drawn three, including a 1–1 draw with Alaves last week.
Barca and Valencia shared the spoils in a 2–2 draw when both sides met in a league game back in December last year. Who’ll come out on top this time?
Valencia have Correia Thierry and Cillessen. Jasper will miss the game due to knee injury.
Barcelona haven’t suffered back-to-back defeats this season. So it’s unlikely they’ll be condemned to another loss.
To boot, Ronald Koeman’s side have been better that Valencia this season and should have enough quality to prevail on Sunday.
