Juventus will welcome AC Milan to the Allianz Stadium in the Serie A on Sunday.
Inter Milan have already been crowned Serie A champions, so what we have left in Italian top-flight football is the race to finish in the top-four.
Juventus are third, while Milan are in fourth place, but both heavyweights are level on points. They’re both two points behind 5th-place Napoli, however, and it’ll be a shame if any of them miss out on a Champions League spot.
AC Milan started the season in exceptional fashion and were top of the table for most part of the first half of the season. Juve, on the other hand, have been league champions for nine consecutive years. So it all looks rather surprising that both teams are struggling to retain a Champions League place.
Last weekend, Milan kept their top-four hopes alive with a fine 2–0 win against Benevento, while Juventus survived a scare against Udinese.
The Old Lady came from behind to win 2–1, thanks to a brace from Cristiano Ronaldo, who’s the league’s top scorer, with 27 goals.
They’re both gunning for the same prize – who will prevail on Sunday?
Chiesa Federico and Demiral Merih won’t be available for Juventus due to injury.
For Milan, Gennaro Gattuso has a healthy squad to select from.
Juventus have conceded at least a goal in their last 11 games across all competitions. They’ve been vulnerable in defense and that has played a major part in their disappointing run this season.
AC Milan should be good enough to find a gap in the Old Lady’s defense and score.
You can back AC Milan – the away team – to score.
